Advent Prayer
Father, all-powerful God,
your eternal Word took flesh on our earth when the Virgin Mary placed her life at the service of your plan.
Lift our minds in watchful hope to hear the voice which announces his glory and open our minds to receive the
Spirit who prepares us for his coming.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

Pink High Tea As part of a their Hospitality Unit Assessment, Year 11.6 students hosted a “Pink High Tea” for staff this Thursday. They showcased their skills in their “Working effectively with Others” and “Preparing Sandwiches” units of competency as well as some amazing cake creating abilities and their general organisation and teamwork skills.
This class is an all-female cohort and in their planning decided to dedicated this event to
raising some funds to donate towards breast cancer research. A special thank you to the staff
for your generous support.
Great work Year 11.
Notice to all Year 7 Parents - UPDATED!
A reminder to all year 7 parents, end of year Awards Ceremony will be held on
Tuesday 9 December at 11.50 am (Lesson 3) Also……….
As we approach the hotter time of year, myself and Mr Seers, the College Sport Coordinator, have met with Year 7 boys to discuss appropriate sport uniform. The College has high standards for uniform, with excellent options available for both winter and summer months. As summer is upon us, we encourage all boys to wear shorts on sport days as wearing tracksuit pants poses a health and hygiene issue. Could we also remind parents that the College is an asthma friendly school and, as such, spray deodorant is not permitted at school. While we encourage all students to look after their personal hygiene by wearing deodorant, non-spray types are preferable. Thank you for your support with these matters. Bernie Maginnity
