Lukas Matic at the start of his under 19 single scull semi-final – he finished second and progresses to the final
Sky Froebel at the start of her under 21 single scull semi-final – she finished third to progress to the final
Harry Cathcart at the start of his semi-final in the under 21 single scull. Harry sadly did not qualify for the A final.
Ria Thompson’s studies have taken her to Queensland and to UQBC. It did not stop her winning her semi-final in under 23 single scull
Alex Clarke in his under 23 single scull semi-final. Sadly he did not make final A
Joel Cain in his semi-final of under 23 scull. Sadly he finished just out of a place in final A
Edward Northrop in the semi-final of the open scull. Sadly he missed out on the final.

Phoebe Wolf qualifies for the final of the under 21 scull through the second semi-final

Mimmi Balaam and Ruby Gioulekas sadly did not qualify through the repechage to final A
Timothy Benton and William Achermann off the start in their repechage of the under 21 pairs. Sadly they did not progress to the final A.
Mimi Tuddenham and Georgie Gleeson qualified for the final in the under 23 pairs
Jacqueline Hart and Kirstie Green sadly did not make it through to final A through their repechage
Ben Canham and Mitch Hooper win their way to the final through the repechage. Ben looking far too chilled in the start!

Meghan Hester on the far side in her repechage in which she qualified for final B of the open lightweight scull
Orietta Fitzsimmons and Brigit Somerville in the under 17 double. Sadly they were eliminated but loved the great experience at the regatta. The crew was coached by Brigit’s father Peter.

Scotch Mercantile Regatta

61st Scotch-Mercantile Regatta – Saturday 16 March 2019 – Nagambie Lakes
Your help is needed. Please volunteer or sponsor a race.
Mercantile and Scotch are again proud to co-host the penultimate regatta of the schoolboy season at Nagambie Lakes. The regatta generates the seeding for the APS Head of the River the following week and has a full days racing with heats in the morning and finals in the afternoon. The school 1st VIII final will close out the day around 4:30pm.
A small and committed team from the two hosts have the planning and preparation well in hand, however on the day we need are looking for members to assist us make it run smoothly.
We are looking for members to assist with:
– motor boat drivers
– marshalls
– bow numbers
– car parking
– timing
– troubleshooting
For the 4th year the regatta will also be live streamed on the web! With over 1,000 spectators in attendance and 20x that watching on the net there are also promotional and sponsorship opportunities available for your product of business.
