Every weekend around 20 refugees from

Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Iran

and other countries are coming to CEU,

equipped with their own computers, to

learn a bit of computer sciences to be-

come more successful on the job market.

The computer course is organized by

HRSI, in collaboration with Esther

Holbroock, Center for Religious Studies

CEU community was invited to take

pictures in the Laptop area and show

their support to Romani people.

The campaign was inspired by the mani-

festo written by contemporary Romani

artists from around Europe who wanted

to stand up for real change and wanted

to encourage fellow Europeans to en-

their lives and their art by setting aside

Ambrus.

On April 21&22 we were pleased to

welcome at CEU Paolo de Renzio, Sen-

compiled a two-day workshop on Gov-

With logistical and promotional support

from HRSI, students organized several

events on April 23&24, including in-

fotable, documentary screening and visit

to the Armenian memorial, located near

Petőfi tér.

It is estimated, that between one and 1,5

million Armenians died as a result of

deliberate violence organized by Turkish

government. Officially, Ankara still

does not recognize those events as geno-

cide.
