APRIL IS ARTS MONTH
Middle School Arts month will kick off with it’s annual Middle School Art Show Opening, which is Tuesday, April 7 in the Middle School Academic Building Art Gallery. Please feel free to drop in and join us from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. We will also have our Arts Assemblies throughout the month. Be sure to check the calendar for What’s Playing each week.
ATHLETIC NOTES Battle Ground Academy Middle School students compete on 21 interscholastic athletic teams with approximately 95% of the student body participating. As always, we are very proud of our student-athletes who participate in our Middle School athletic program, but we are equally proud of those student-athletes who participate in athletics that are offered outside of school, such as equestrian events, hockey, gymnastics, figure skating and lacrosse. INTERESTED IN BECOMING A PARENT ASSOCIATION BOARD MEMBER?
According to the Battle Ground Academy by-laws, early March of each school year the Parent Advisor shall publicize that nominations for BGA Parent Association Co-Chairmanships are being accepted for the following year. Nominations shall be accepted by the Parent Advisor for two weeks. The Nominating Committee shall meet in late March or early April (depending on Spring Break dates) of each school year. Elections shall take place at the April Board meeting. New officers shall be invited to attend the May board meeting.
