SALE TERMS1. Inspection of cattle. All cattle will be available for inspection at the sale site beginning Saturday, March 27,

2010 at 12 pm. Prior to sale date cattle may be viewed at the ranch.

2. Terms. Cash. Please settle for cattle promptly. No animals will be permitted to be removed from thepremises until settlement is made.

3. Health. All bulls have been given 5X Lepto-Vibrio, IBR, BVD, PI3, BRSV, Pinkeye vaccinations, wormed andpoured and semen tested. All bulls will be PI BVD tested prior to sale. All females have been vaccinated thesame way. Health certificates will be furnished for shipment where needed. All cattle are on a Vita Fermmineral program.

4. Announcements. From the block will take precedence over information in the catalog.

5. Liability. All persons attending this sale do so at their own risk, legal or otherwise for their safety or thebehavior of the animals. The owners and auction service assume no liability for property loss or anyaccidents that may occur.

6. Insurance. Will be available sale day at the settlement office.

7. Purchasers Risk. Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.

8. Guarantee. All animals sold in this sale are guaranteed to be breeders, provided they are properly handledand cared for. If an animal fails to breed the seller must be notified within 6 months of sale date and shallhave 6 months to test the animal. Guarantee does not apply to sick or injured animals.

Welcome to the Silver Genetics Production Sale VI. Again, we can’t believe we have been doing this for the last 6 years. We want to thank our past buyers, as always, since this would not happen if it weren’t for you.

We are offering a very diverse set of bulls this year. The 18 month old bulls are listed first in the catalog. Some of these aged bulls are purebred Salers and we also have some composites. Then we have listed our yearling high percentage and purebred Salers bulls, followed by our Red Angus bulls and then Composite bulls. We do have more homozygous black lots in our line up this year.

We are sure everyone across the US can agree that the winter has been a very hard one. Our bulls have preformed as well as can be expected with the snow covering the ground since Dec. 8, 2009. That early winter weather is just not typical for us in Northwest Missouri. Only having a handful of days above freezing has not allowed us to get the bulls cleaned up and pictured. The bulls have been on test the same as past years being fed silage, roughage, wet distillers and corn. We again have DNA tested them through Igenity and are very pleased with the results. All bulls have passed a breeding soundness exam, been vaccinated, wormed and poured and are ready for breeding season. This year we are offering a set of good young spring pairs. We are retaining more females this year due to an opportunity to acquire more summer pasture. The numbers are small, but the quality is very good. With cow numbers dropping in our area we are striving to produce good quality cattle with hope to bring those numbers back up.
