Special Visiting Country Focus Azerbaijan the VIP Elite+ Programme has attracted Central Eurasian visitors and a special focus on Azerbaijan has enabled us to invite and host the Deputy Health Minister, Elsever AGHAYEV who is responsible for all state hospitals of Azerbaijan. He was joined by a large delegation including government officials, private hospital owners, and healthcare decision makers

Healthcare Overview Azerbaijani government spending on healthcare has increased over 10times in the last decade, leading to a boom in imports which has been reinforced by low levels of domestic production. Current healthcare spending 5.4% of GDP, with 500 hospitals in various sizes across the country. Medical infrastructure is currently concentrated in Baku. Government plans to develop universal healthcare provision will lead to wider spread of investment across the country and deliver huge growth opportunities.

The educational programme has tripled in size this year with three event areas and four conference rooms hosting inspirational sessions from Bau Tıp University, The Turkish Biochemical Society, Turkish Radiology Society and SAYED Health Management and Education Association.
