ChemgaPedia Enzyclopedia: Teaching and Learning Organic Chemistry
The object of the project is the creation of a multimedia program providing easy access to e-learning and e-teaching The project includes 29 areas covering all aspects of chemistry and related sciences The content of the learning material has to meet the requirements for a bachelor degree in chemistry The content was developed by 16 academic groups in Germany, Switzerland and Great Britain Funding for the project was provided between 1999 – 2004 by the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education (BMBF) Coordination of the project was done by FIZ Chemie Berlin FIZ Chemie Berlin is now responsible for continuous development of the project.
