What an exciting year it's been as together we've pursued the Rooted Initiatives — where

every part of our life and ministries are grounded in Christ for the good of the world.

Rooted comes from Isaiah 27:6 “In days to come Jacob shall take root, Israel shall blossom and put forth shoots and fill the whole world with fruit.”

What a beautiful picture of God’s people taking root, and bearing fruit — seeing more

lives transformed by the power of the gospel.

As our church enters year two of the Rooted journey, we are eager to share updates of what God has been doing. Reflecting on this past year brings hopeful anticipation for even more!

As we reflect, let's commit to our own growth in Christ. The Growth Plan is a tool to help you grow as you take ownership.

We’re in the front half of our year-long series, The Storyline: Rooted In God’s Story. In this series, covering the entire Bible, we will see how God is creating, redeeming and restoring all things to Himself, through Christ, for His glory and our good. Many have committed to reading through the Old Testament this year — will you consider joining us?

Through it all, our desire is to grow deeper in Christ to reach further for Him — grounded in Christ for the good of the world.

In addition to all that God is doing throughout each weekend and in groups, we’ve begun offering more resources to strengthen our Church through classes, forums, retreats and more. This past year we’ve invested in: Interns and residents, the Get Trained Conference, forums and marriages.

We’ve added two new soccer fields this past year and started Upward Soccer. In addition, Eric Appiah has joined our staff as the new Sports Ministry Director to continue to develop our programs, so we can reach more kids and their families for Christ.

NORTH CAMPUSFor the past five years, we've been looking for a new space for North Campus. God has provided ten acres off Hwy. 51 in DeForest that is being offered for free to build a campus that we could one day own. This new location will be a place to make a great impact in the community, allowing us to reach more people for Christ up North. NORTHSIDE MADISONWe've been eager to establish a campus on the Northside of Madison — a Christ-centered church for all people. God has provided a retail space near Boomerangs, our resale store, where we can establish a loving community that serves the Northside.

MENDOTA SCHOOL BLOCK PARTY CAMP TUESDAY & HOMEWORK CLUB

EAGLE POINT ELEMENTARY

LA CEIBA, HONDURAS BIG SERVE 2016

Approximately 60 volunteers supported this effort! ($4,000)

Funded their Summer Reading Program, providing books for all K-4 children. ($4,000)

MISSION OF HOPE, HAITI

Students participated in the Farm to Table program by packing Haitian-grown crops that provided food to a Haitian school for six months. ($4,000)

Supported two grassroots programs that serve at-risk children in Sun Prairie. ($4,000)

Funded a computer lab for the CDI program. ($4,000) Donated $23,000 in food/meal kits to our local partner schools.

CHALLENGE: We need to raise an additional $500K of pledges in this final year to ensure our two sites are launched and fully funded.

DEBT: We have paid down our mortgage by $325K and anticipate another $200K coming in through current pledges.
