Welcome Salem County Going Green ProjectSponsored by Mannington Mills and Salem County Schools, New Jersey
This project is designed for teachers in Salem County, New Jersey, Grades 1 through 12 to help them engage students in activities that encourage conservation, recycling and environmental awareness.
Become an integral part of the movement across Salem County to bring environmental awareness and activities right into the classrooms of county schools, with Mentoring from Mannington Mills.
Through a sequence of workshops over a year, teachers will learn about environmental issues, how they can be applied to their classroom and how their schools can Going Green with students assessing whether their school is accomplishing their goals

The Stand On A Better World Scholarship will award five $1,000 scholarships to Salem County students who have demonstrated a commitment to community service and plan to continue their education beyond high school.
