“Success is born out of faith, an undying passion, and a relentless drive.” — Stephen CurryMaranatha Academy (formerly Maranatha High School), has successfully through the years instilled the philosophy and driving concept of the above quotation into the students that have graced it halls. This school of excellence continues to harness

and develop the physical abilities, academic prowess, mental acumen, social skills and spiritual character of young people which benefits not only the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) but also the world. Without reser-vation, it can be said that this Academy of learning has excelled in every area of academia and extra-curricu-lar events without compromising on Christian values, virtues and integrity. Therefore, with a great sense of joy and gratitude to Almighty God, we applaud Maranatha Academy for its legacy that is grounded in God and His word and manifested through excellence as exhibited in the lives of its administrators, faculty, staff and students. So on behalf of my fellow Mission Administrators, Pastor Steve Cornwall, Executive Secretary & Ms. Simone Gilkes, Treasurer; the Executive Committee of the Turks and Caicos Islands Mission of Seventh-day Adventists; the TCIM Board of Education and the School Board of the Maranatha Academy, I greet you on this momentous occasion. Thank you for your support over the years, whether it has been by entrusting your child to our care or with your financial contributions, or your positive verbal endorsements and goodwill, or by your prayers. We are grateful for your trust and partnership in educating the youth of TCI.We salute the 2017 graduates and challenge you to go forward as your graduation theme says: “Running Relentlessly, Surmounting the Odds”.
