PARKING AT MEADOWS Student safety is a high priority at Meadows School and we encourage parents to reinforce street

safety with their children. Brandon By law officers monitor and assist the school division regarding

school parking and in order to prevent being ticketed and help keep our students safe we request

that parents adhere to the parking signs in front of the school and not park in the Staff Parking Lot

at the south end of the school. If you have questions regarding parking please do not hesitate to

contact the office at 204-729-3988. We appreciate your co-operation in this matter.

It is BSD policy that volunteers complete a Criminal Record Check and

a Child Abuse Registry Check. If you are planning to volunteer in any

capacity for the Brandon School Division these checks must be com-

pleted. The following procedures are in place for volunteer Criminal

Record Checks:

1. Criminal Records Check(CRC): Volunteers who reside in

Brandon are to go to the local Police station for their check while

volunteers living outside of Brandon are to go to the RCMP station

in their area. Take two pieces of identification with you, one

from the school secretary and completed in the presence of the

school secretary. Two pieces of identification are required for

the check. This form will be forwarded to the BSD who will
