We are seeking HIV+ volunteers with CD4 T cells greater than 500 cells/mm3 and viral loadbelow detection for a treatment interruption study. There will be two groups of participants:one group will receive IL-2 three times over 6 months and the other group will not. After6 months, all participants will go off their antiretroviral medications while being monitoredclosely. We will compare CD4 counts between the two groups.

You may qualify if:• You have never received IL-2.• You have never had a CD4 count under 200 cells/mm3.• You do not have significant medical problems.• You are willing to come off of your antiretroviral medications under close supervision.

Cost:• No charge for study-related tests or treatments.• Travel assistance may be provided.

Duration of study:• Two and a half years with visits every 2 to 3 months.

Location of study:• National Institutes of Health Clinical Center (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.
