A spa manicure is a bit different & longer treatment than the standard manicure treatment. However, it has the same procedure as a normal manicure, but a spa manicure process ends with an additional treatment, such as exfoliation or a paraffin wax treatment depending on the nail salon.

The initial procedure of a gel manicure is same as the standard manicure; the only difference is that it involves a special nail paint, which looks like a normal nail paint, but doesn't chip for almost up to two weeks!

This type of nail paint is nothing but a colored gel and is applied at the end, after all the regular-manicure steps. Each application of each coat is then dried under UV light; this procedure is known as curing.

The entire procedure of a gel manicure is done under the watchful eye of an expert for safety purposes.
