Our MAGMA material is the warmest on the market. Besides, it is highly stretchable,which brings an unmatched freedom of movement to the suits. Its plush loops work as effective insulators and heat generators while providing a smooth and soft feeling that makes the suit incredibly comfortable. It also dries extremely fast.

Our brand new N foam is even warmer, more flexible and more comfortable than V foam. It totally outdoes all the existing foams, and this is a 2016 improvement.

All Magma wetsuits will be built using the SQUARE-FLEX skin. It has same characteristics as RE-FLEX SKIN, but its textured construction allows more stretch and better durability for those premium models.

The X10D inside layer is the most flexible material you can find on a suit, it makes you feel stretch and light, with a good feeling on the skin.

Better than your own skin. The RE-FLEX outside skin is extremely stretch, smooth, durable, UV-resistant, it enhances your movements and makes them more explosive.

The SD² tape is the best balance between stretch, strength and waterproofness. This technology consists in gluing and blind-stitching two neoprene panels together, then overtopping it with our ultra stretch tape: it makes the seams 100% waterproof and substantially enhances durability, while still keeping the seam as flex as possible.

A Wetsuit leg filled up with water is a very uncomfortable issue: The MANERA water strainer panel is here to prevent it. The leaky + perforated neoprene drains the water out of your leg instantly to let you continue the session in the best possible conditions.

If the Water strainer panel is still not enough for you: The MANERA ankle straps are designed to be very thin so water sprays can’t take them off. They are also stiff enough to block the water from coming in, and light for a better comfort.



Some areas are very sensitive to friction, tensions and tearing. All MANERA wetsuits have been designed with a demanding brief including: - Avoiding seams in tensions area,

to maximize flexibility and strength. - Making sure the seams are stretched

vertically and not in a horizontal way - Removing seams from friction areas, which

avoids rash and increases stretch capacity- Reinforcing strategic parts and panels right

where it needs to be.

SEALING PRINTS FUSION CUT

Sealing prints make the ankles and wrists stiffer. It has a joint role that keeps the water away, and maintains the arms and legs panels in place. It is made to be just stretch enough to put-on and remove the wetsuit easily.



Fusion cut is the fusion of our SQUARE-FLEX/RE-FLEX skins with the MAGMA FLEECE/X10D JERSEY at the tip of the arms and legs. This aesthetic finish helps out with catching less water thanks to its thin profile and perfect fit on the skin. It also wraps around and protects the inside neoprene foam.

HANGER TOLERANCE PRINT BACK KNEE EMBOSS

Most wetsuits are often stored on hangers, damaging and deforming the shoulder parts, which is one of the most important part of your wetsuit. The hanger tolerance prints will strengthen this strategic area to protect the neoprene material and maintain the right fit in a durable way. It is designed to let the shoulders free and comfortable during riding.



The back of your knee is a sensible area and it needs great comfort. The Back knee emboss helps the Triplex to fold in the right way when you’re bending your legs, for optimal cosiness during the ride.

Wetsuits thicknesses can be really confusing for customers: 5mm, 5.4mm, 5.4.3mm, 5.3mm… And the additional information is vague or nonexistent:

- How many 5mm panels are included in the suit?

- What is the proportion of 5mm, 4mm & 3mm panels?

It is very different if you buy a full 3mm with just a piece of 5mm on the torso compared to a full 5mm with just 3mm pieces around shoulders. The price should also be different.

When buying a MANERA wetsuit, we want you to be aware of what you’re paying for. When we are selling a 5mm, we guarantee you are getting a wetsuit that is built with more than 50% of 5mm neoprene.

When we launched the EXO harness two years ago, our close collaboration with a Human Kinetics science laboratory gave us a new approach of this product andresulted in a technological breakthrough compared to what existed on the market.For 2016 we have continued to work on the same technologies to bring them to an even higher level.Changes were made in both the structure and the materials, improving both comfort & durability on the EXO.

MATERIALS RESEARCH The look & durability of a harness are very important aspects and we wanted to improve both of them.Our design team has been looking for the best possible materials in terms of look,colors and durability, including RIP STOPS, PU, 600D, SOFT TOUCH and PREMIUMNEOPRENE, all chosen to match well together and all tested to resist to the mostextreme conditions.This materials research makes the harness look sophisticated and modern, far away from the regular EVA thermoform you can find on the market. Plus, the EXO harness is now stronger and more resistant than ever.

We realized that when it comes to comfort, the fit is essential. Pre-forming all thematerial layers that compose the harness during manufacturing created the ERGONOMIC PREFIT technology.The first version of the ergonomic prefit really helped to adapt actively to the movementsof the body, and provides freedom, flexibility and softness.The goal for 2016 was to improve it. We re-worked on this manufacturing process topre-shape the EXO in a way to fit better around the waist. The result is impressive asthe new model clips around your body like if it was meant to be here.

The Energy Dispersion Frame is a molded plastic injected frame with a hexagonalstructure.Built with various degrees of stiffness and volume, to control its flex and resistance,its main advantage and innovation lies in its connection to the spreader bar through webbing and buckles. The loads are transferred directly and the frame therefore receives 100% of the Kite power. Its design and structure helps distribute consistently the pressure over a much wider area.Pressures are no longer concentrated on a narrow area of the back, which protectsthe rider and prevent him from having to compensate with his lumbar muscles.

This technology brings a new vision on the energy transfer science and providesthe rider with a comfort never seen before, and an incredible freedom, like wearingno harness.

NEST FOAMDifferent thicknesses of this new foam that lines the entire interior volume of the harness are used according to the pressure absorption needs. It provides better cushion under tension with optimum comfort.The harness will give the rider a maximum range of motion and flexibility. Over time the foam keeps its original shape and thickness, maintaining the comfort of the harness.

This new method consists in transmitting all the loads and pressures outside the harness through the frame while placing the totality of the foam layers between these forces and your back. Usually straps, plates, and other devices are hidden inside the harness and are sandwiched between two layers of foam. Unfortunately only the layer between your back and the structure of harness helps reducing tensions.On the Manera Exo harness, the integrality of the foam thickness is here to soften and suppress pressure, for maximum comfort.

You can be right or left hander, the Manera leash release will be easy to trigger:We placed one on each side of the harness. Depending on your preference, you will also have the choice between letting yourleash free to slide along your back and locking it to either the left or right side.

Helping the Down Hold System, two flaps situated on each side of the spreaderbar are inserted in the harness. Once the straps are tightened, the flaps are compressed and blocked inside.The aim is to rigidify the link between the spreader bar and the harness structure.The result is surprising as the hook never goes up to your chest.

ALU LAYERThe ALU layer is a reflecting material that is very resistant to tearing and shocks, but its killer advantage is that it reflects the UV rays. It regulates the heat of your boardbag surface and so, when ALU layer is placed up, your board will not be damaged if left hours in the sun. Our ALU layer on the top/right.

PVC PATCH PROTECTIONSome parts of the boardbags are sensible and are often dragged on the ground. For these we decided to use a PVC patch protection, which is the most resistant surface we could use. Our PVC patch protection on the down/right.

TECHNOLOGIES

DOUBLE GALLON STITCHINGMost of the boardbags are stitched with one gallon joining the top and bottom parts all around. Having used many boardbags we realized this joint is a sensible area, and it needs the best construction to resist.

On all our boardbags, we stitch a first gallon all around the top part, then stitch a second gallon all around the bottom part, to finish we stitch both gallon together. This is a long, expensive process but it assures us our boardbags will be the most durable possible.

AIR-VENT SYSTEMBeing confined in a wet, salty boardbag is clearly not a good situation.

As we love your boards and gear, we would like it to be ventilated: we developped the Airvent rubber system to let the boardbag breath and evacuate moisture and bad smells.

CROSS-REINFORCEMENTHaving just a side handle on a big and large SUP boardbag is really not convenient to carry, like when holding a board it is easier to grab it by the middle handle. When we designed the middle mesh SUP bag handle, we thought it will clearly not be resistant, that is why we added the cross reinforcement: It transmits the loads of the handle on a wide surface over the boardbag, and creates a strategic robust structure that reinforce the whole bag.

SWIFT-WHEELSYou can have the best boardbag possible, if the wheels are cheap you won’t be able to use it for long, plus the noise it makes is the most annoying on earth. The wheels we used on our AIR-FORCE and GOLF bags are large, soft and resistant, so it can go anywhere and be discrete at the same time.
