67 Minutes of Community Service
My fellow Rotarians,
We have the opportunity to showcase our club and Rotary by supporting the Radio 2000 and Channel
Africa event in Joubert Park on 18 July 2016. Not only will the two radio stations be involved, but also
the SABC 1 and 3 TV channels.
Partners like Gift of the Givers, Spar, Joburg Zoo and others are already working together to serve
humanity on the day. Please let me know If you are able to assist and or if your company want to get
involved in this event.
Please see the addendum for their proposal which includes their wish list that may serve as an
inspiration on how to assist. I will collect books from the Humanitarian centre for the children as soon as
the final figure of children attending is known.
We can also do shoes, blankets, non-perishable food items, water etc. Should you be interested,
please let me know so we can consolidate our efforts from the Rotary side. If your company want to be
part of this, I will forward you the details for the contact person and do the introductions.
Deadline for this is the end of this month if we want to be mentioned in the 30” promo that will be
flighted 2 weeks prior to the event.
Yours in Rotary,
Steve du Plessis Executive Secretary
