Departmental achievements The college has unique distinction as one of the best National Institutions in India and
abroad. The college has completed 50 years of existence and this landmark was celebrated
with an International Symposium that brought together the alumni both from India and abroad
to deliberate and discuss science in a 2 day event. The college has conducted several
National, International Seminars. QIP programs during its 50 years of existence with
assistance from AICTE, UGC, AYUSH, CSIR, ICMR, BRNS, DBT and several Pharma Industries.
The college has successfully executed projects for Pharma companies and other allied and
ancillary industries, technology has been transferred to these companies and many of these
have been commercially successful.
The college has a highly sophisticated instrument laboratory and is thus able to support several
small scale industries in terms of usage of instruments and equipments housed in the college
for their research and developmental work. The Research Society of the College is
recognised by Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (Govt. of India)
The college has received Best Industry Linked Institution National award in Pharmacy for the
year 2013, 2014 and Best Mentor Award for 2015 from AICTE-CII. The college was ranked
