Wireless[MAGAZINE]Well straddle my filthy chops and call me Sandra. Your
favourite (or hopefully soon-to-be favourite) student
mag is back and were feeling sexier than ever! For those
of you that dont know it, every page of Wireless Magazine
is written and designed by students all over the UK - make
sure you get in on the action too (just go to
www.wirelessmag.co.uk/write). This issue is a bloody
humdinger, featuring exclusive interviews with the fat
thumbed comedy genius Russell Howard, the far-too-
clever director Rian Johnson, the terrifyingly hard Ben
Drew (Plan B to you and me), the laptop genius Dan Le Sac,
super catchy Fun. and Uni tips from the rather lovely
Fresh Meat actress Charlotte Ritchie. Oh and youll get
to learn what ketchup sex is too. Hot diggity. Enjoy... x

BB are a two piece garage band play-

ever hear any of the vocals which is
a good thing because theyre probably
about snails and bugs and stuff.
In Manchester
In the early months of Moneys conception their continuous name changes and disregard
for social media made PR men swoon at the genius of such a successful anti-marketing
campaign. In reality the band are simply a rare example of an act becoming popular on

TWB are terrifying punk rock dinosaurs

mix of old school punk and west coast

Shadows in a Bronx alleyway while Clif-

This devastatingly young all-female
rock group are so good that its bound
to depress some of their older peers.

as alternative than indie. The heavy

Radiohead - 6th October @ Manchester Arena - Because at this point they could release an album full of fart sounds and charge a grand and theyd still be worth going to see live.
The Young Knives 22nd September @ Sound Control, Manchester The Young Knives popularity has teetered as of late but they still play decent indie with lyrics anchored to small town Britain.
Status Quo 14th September @ The Moses Gate Hotel, Bolton In a couple of hundred years no one will remember punk, heavy metal or grunge but there will still be fake rock music fans and there will still be The Quo.Lady Gaga & The Darkness 11th September @ Manchester Arena, Manchester In one of the strangest line-ups of the decade, Justin Hawkins 70s rock novelty act plays alongside Stefani Germanottas 80s pop novelty act.
