PollinatorPalooza 

This year, for the Zoo's annualnative plant sale, they're turning itinto a Pollinator Palooza.Pollinators are a very importantpart of our environment and wedon't know what we'd do withoutthem. The Zoo will be selling nativebee houses and incorporatingseveral free activities and learningstations for all ages. Paint yourown toad abode and make a seedball all while picking out nativeplants to attract pollinators to yourown home. Join us on Saturday,May 12 in the Zoo parking lot andin front of Big Gage Shelter House.

All proceeds support the TopekaZoo's Conservation Fund to beredirected to conservation projectsaround the world and right here athome.

The Topeka Zoo has partnered withKTWU to provide a live camerafeed of our giraffe's that you canwatch anytime.

 Recent Updates The 2015 International Fire Code became effective May 1, 2018.

The start work order for the SW 26th & Chelsea Drainage CorrectionProgram (DCP) project was issued last week and construction willcommence this week (May 7-11).

The Street Department sealed 49,800 linear feet of cracks.

43rd & Colly Creek Utilities replacement public meeting scheduledfor 5/10/18 at 4:30pm at the Topeka Baptist Church at 4500 SW GageBlvd. Construction will begin as early as 5/21/18 or as late as 6/4/18.

May 10th, the Zoo is hosting a Conservation Connection, a freeprogram at 6:30pm. Guest speaker is from the Lubee BatFoundation.

May 12th is Pollinator Palooza at the Zoo.
