Manager Self Service: Log in to Oracle and access Manager Self Service (ex. ASC MANAGER SELF SERVICE)

Click on my employee info.

My Employee Info: Under name click on the name of the person you want to view. You can also view Salary, Performance tabs etc. tabs.

Click Home to Go back to main Screen. And select the function like Salary Change, Termination etc..

When you access to Manager Self Service role select the function from right side to take action. Example: For change salary pick ‘Change Pay’

To perform Change Pay: Click on ‘Change Pay’ on the main page and select the employee Action

To perform Change Pay: Select the effective date from the calendar. By default system put the current date. You will not be able to put a date prior to the date where is says: ‘Please enter an Effective Date on or after ..’. If you perform a retro active salary change please notify Payroll/HR since system will not re-calculate payrolls. Click Continue….

To perform Change Pay: Select the Reason for change from ‘Description’ drop down and enter Percent change and hit Tab. System will automatically populate the Salary and Annual Equivalent fields. Use Multiple Rate button if you wish to perform salary increase for multiple reason like Cost of Living and Periodic Review. Click Next

To perform Change Pay: Review the change and Submit for Approval. By system default all transaction goes to immediate supervisor for approval via Workflow. You can on the fly add approver and FYI using Adhoc Approver. Click on Adhoc Approver if necessary.

To perform Change Pay: (Optional) Insert adhoc Approver or For Your Information (From Category Drop down) and click Add. After review this page click Submit

To perform Change Pay: After Successful submission system will send notification to the approver. Click Home

To perform Any Transactions: After Successful submission for any transactions system will also send a FYI to the requester indicating Transaction forwarded to approver.

To perform Any Transactions: (for Approver) After Successful submission for any transactions system will send the notifications to the approver to take action.

To perform Any Transactions: (for Approver) Take necessary action and transaction will be updated in the system after approval if you are the final approver listed. System notifies FYI distribution list if any listed. Requester will be notified with the status of the approval also.

To perform Any Transactions: (for Requestor) Requester notified about the transactions he/she initiated.

To perform Termination: (for Requestor) Select employee and click Action

To perform Termination: (For requestor) Select the effective date from the calendar. By default system put the current date. You will not be able to put a date prior to the date where is says: ‘Please enter an Effective Date on or after ..’. Do not perform a retro termination via Manager self service since employee may have payroll runs. Click Continue….

To perform Termination: (For requestor) Pick Reason for Termination from Reason Drop down and click Next. You can change the notification date if you want to. To change the terminatrion date hit ‘Back’ and change the effective date from previous screen.

To perform Termination: (For requestor) Review the information and hit Submit. You can always add adhoc approver and FYI transaction if you want to but will not be able to remove any system generated approver and For Your Information People.

All Action Waiting Your attention: All Action waiting your attention will provide you work in process transactions or pending transactions.

Update Employee Assignment: (for Requestor) With this function you can update employee job, department, salary, manager etc. If you are willing to transfer between companies (Like AES INC to AES ALASKA INC.) please contact HR/Payroll or use your existing business process and leave manager self service. If your business process indicate terminate the employee and re-hire in other company please go to manager self service terminate function to perform the termination. Select employee you want to transfer and hit Action.

Do not perform a retro transfer via Manager self service since employee may already have payroll runs. Click Continue….

Transfer within Company: (for Requestor) Change department, Job title and hit next

Transfer within Company: (for Requestor) To change department click the search form (Turn the popup blocker off otherwise search will not work). To do a partial search put name and % (like ASC% and hit Go). Change job title if necessary. Hit Next

Transfer within Company: (for Requestor) Change Location if it is necessary. To avoid delay in processing pay attention with the State field of your new location you are transferring to. If you try to change the location to a state your company doesn’t have business system will generate an exception and send the notification to Payroll for approval before goes to your supervisor for regular approval. Hit next

Transfer within Company: (for Requestor) Change the manager name. You can also assign new direct report for the employee. Hit Add Another Row for multiple direct report. Hit next

Transfer within Company: (for Requestor) Change assignment Category if necessay. Hit next

Transfer within Company: (for Requestor) Review this page. If you need to change the salary with this transfer perform the transfer and then change salary in Change Pay function. It is review only and you will not be able to change anything on this page. Hit next
