In business, people from different parts of the wor ld wor k together in an environm ent so rich in diverse cultural ideas and attitudes that it  presents a huge chance for develop ment through t he huge flow of creative ideas, or the total opposite: an environ ment that easily can spark conf licts (Chap man, 201 0). G lobalization integrates different concepts about job satisfaction and adds a new dyna mic to this rich wor ld (Wormer, 2005) of opportunities. R egardless of origins, it is hard for an em ployee to p erform a job day after day and still feel thrilled over time (L ee, 2005), or w orse, for an employee to have a job that he/she never enjoyed in the first  place. How ca n mana gem ent reach higher levels of job satisfaction? H ow does the organization get involved in enhancing its employees¶ sense of job satisfaction? How does job satisfaction relate to organization com mu nication theories? This research focuses on the m eaning of job satisfaction, its challenges, and how t o effectively increase emp loyee satisfaction. The aim of this research is to explore the sense of job satisfaction and the struggles emp loyees face in governm ent organizations by using a case study of different organizations in the UAE. O ne of the main research findings is  job satisfaction is based on effective ma nagem ent, comm unication, facilities, and  benefits, including salaries, technologies, and future job directions. Key W ords: M odels of job satisfaction ; Equity theory; Challenges and w ork  approach; Measuring job satisfaction INTR  ODUC T I O N  Th e definition of job satisfaction is the enjoyable an d em otional state resulting from the evaluation of one¶s  job (Danish & Usma n, 2010) or job experiences; the em ployee feels fulfillment and pride in achieving the  business¶s goals. Job satisfaction occurs when someone feels he/she has proficiency, value, and is worthy of recognition (Garcez, 200 6). Therefore, j ob satisfaction is a worker¶s sense of achievement and i s generally noted to be directly (Cranny, Sm ith & Stone, 1992) associated to improved efficiency as well as to personal welfare. Job satisfaction is the belief of the em ployee that he/she is doing a good job, enjoying the process, and being suitably reward ed for the effort. Job satisfaction is a m easure of how happy workers are with their jobs and work environ ment.
