My hero project

Malcolm x

Malcolm Little was born on May 19, 1925 in Omaha,

Nebraska. He had 8 sibling's.His dad died when he was 12. His

mom had a break down. He went to college. He was the first

one to graduate. Malcolm Little dropped Little and made X his

last name.

Malcolm x fought for religious freedom

for black people. White people threw a

fire grenade at his house. His family was

not harmed. many people wanted to harm

him. I chose him because I look up to the

way he wanted all people to be free.

He became a militant leader. Malcolm x went

to jail 5 times. he tried to read every thing he

could in jail. Malcolm x had a mentor, Elijah

Muhammad that helped him be a leader. Then

on February 21, 1965 (aged 39) He died. he

got shot 15 times. Malcolm x was a hero

because he fought for black peoples rights.
