  • Malachi 3:1 (NIV) 1 I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come, says the L ORD Almighty. 2 But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears?

  • Malachi 3:13-15 (NIV) 13 You have spoken arrogantly against me, says the Lord. "Yet you ask, What have we said against you? 14 You have said, It is futile to serve God. What do we gain by carrying out his requirements and going about like mourners before the Lord Almighty ?
  • Slide 6
  • Malachi 3:13-15 (NIV) 15 But now we call the arrogant blessed. Certainly evildoers prosper, and even when they put God to the test, they get away with it.
  • Slide 7
  • Malachi 3:16-18 (NIV) 16 Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name.
  • Slide 8
  • Malachi 3:16 (NIV) 17 On the day when I act, says the Lord Almighty, they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him.
  • Slide 9
  • Malachi 3:16 (NIV) 18 And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.
  • Slide 10
  • Malachi 4:1 (NKJV) 1 For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up, "Says the L ORD of hosts, "That will leave them neither root nor branch.
  • Slide 11
  • Malachi 4:1 (NKJV) 2 But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall- fed calves.
  • Slide 12
  • Malachi 4:35 (NKJV) 3 You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this, "Says the L ORD of hosts. 4 Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgments.
  • Slide 13
  • Malachi 4:35 (NKJV) 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the L ORD.
  • Slide 14
  • Malachi 4:6 (NKJV) and he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.

  • Malachi describes the end-time revival as characterized by Elijahs ministry. Elijahs message, will be confirmed by a manifestation of Gods power with the spirit of prophecy in a way that parallels his historic ministry (1 Kgs. 172 Kgs. 2)
  • Slide 18
  • and Malachis prophecy (Mal. 4:4- 6). Malachi added a key message: turning the hearts of fathers to children, and of children to fathers.
  • Slide 19
  • It is miraculous when powerful men turn their hearts to give their resources to children who cannot give anything back to them that would increase their influence or resources.
  • Slide 20
  • The fatherless are those without a father in their life, not just orphans. Gods power as seen in Elijahs ministry will draw attention to children as the focus of Gods end-time justice purposes.

  • 1 John 3:1 (NLT) See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don't recognize that we are God's children because they don't know him.

  • Much of the end-time harvest will come from the poor youth of the nations.
  • Slide 36
  • Before (verse 5): The fullness of the prophecy about Elijahs return and the global outpouring of the Spirit will come just before Jesus returns. This great outpouring is related to Gods heart for children. Joel described the end-time outpouring of the Spirit as coming before Jesus returns (Joel 2:31) Sons and Daughters
  • Slide 37
  • An initial and partial fulfillment of this occurred in the generation of Jesus first coming.
  • Slide 38
  • God told Moses that He would judge anyone who afflicted widows or the fatherless. Those who need a Judge most are the fatherless who are abused in human trafficking or neglected in society. One reason judgment comes is to stop those who exploit widows and orphans (Mal. 3:5) (Ex. 22:22-24) (Ps. 94:2-21)
  • Slide 39
  • Psalms 94:2-21 2 Rise up, O Judge of the earth; render punishment to the proud... 5 They break in pieces Your people, O LORD, and afflict Your heritage. 6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. 7 Yet they say, The LORD does not see
  • Slide 40
  • Psalms 94:2-21 20 Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, have fellowship with You? 21 They gather together against the life of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood
  • Slide 41
  • Jesus revealed His heart for children and linked receiving or valuing children to receiving Him. Matthew 18:5 Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.
  • Slide 42
  • Mark 10:13-14 13 They brought young children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said, Let the little children come to Medo not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom.
  • Slide 43
  • David prophesied that childrens worship would silence the enemy at the time when Jesus name is honored in all the nations (this will occur especially in the generation Jesus returns).
  • Slide 44
  • Jesus connects His end-time global prayer movement to His purposes of reaching the fatherless. Jesus quoted a prophecy of David (Ps. 8:2) when He cleansed the temple at His first coming. (Mouth of babes He perfected praise)

  • *The largest orphan outreaches in history will be raised up by the Lord in the coming days. *I believe Gods desire is that the end-time orphan movement be turned into an apostolic missions movement. *Gods plan is to take the fatherless and make them fathers in the end-time church. *Many of the end-time apostolic and prophetic leaders in the prayer and missions movement will come from the Lords purpose in reaching orphans.

  • Ted met and married Sou while working for the U.S. Embassy in Laos for three years during the Vietnam War. Though Ted has a background in business and agriculture, they spent 12 years pastoring in Woodstock, Ill., before answering the call to the mission field in 1999.
  • Slide 54
  • The work in Cambodia has rapidly grown under Ted and Sous leadership, more than 6,000 churches or meeting places have been planted, 106 Church/ Orphan Homes are operating, and thousands of orphans and widows are being cared for.
  • Slide 55
  • Care for ~ 3,000 orphans and separated children each year Staff ~ 600 widows (one for every five children we care for) Rescue, train, equip, and release sexually trafficked young women

  • Provide advanced educational training for orphans Continue the family relationship with 15,000 orphans who have been raised in our homes Provide vocational training and assistance for micro-enterprises
  • Slide 57
  • All the pastors of the churches were fatherless and now they are fathers (orphans) These orphans are now doing incredible miracles on a regular bases
  • Slide 58
  • 15 years ago there were less than 1% of Christians in Cambodia, now it is almost 20% Half of all Cambodia Christians are Foursquare Over 1,000,000 salvations, multitudes of miracles
