Malacca Crocodile Farm has been in operation since July 1987.

Located in Ayer Keroh of Melaka; about 20

minutes drive from the town of Melaka.

Home to about 100 species of crocodiles and alligators from around the world including all local species and crocodiles from America, Mexican, India, & Thailand.

The few species that can be found at the farm are Estuarine / Salt Water Crocodile / Crocodylus Porosus, False Gavial, Crocodylus Siamensis, Spectacled Caiman, Indian Marsh

Mugger Crocodile & American Alligator.

Has new attractions such as Malaysia in Miniature, Aviary Bird Park, Reptile House, Mammalia House and Water Recreation Park.

AVIARY BIRD CORNER Only a few birds provided inside. The tourist needs to seek out all the birds for precious experience and to catch photo.

CLEANLINESS There are a lot of rubbish like plastics and

water cans at the back of reptile corner. In crocodile part also have a problem which

there is unpleasant odours along the ponds.

MONUMENT CORNER There are no information and tour guide provided at the site. The information and monument have been separated.

PARKING LOT The park does not

have enough parking for the tourist.

CROCODILE FEEDING The workers still need to beware because the crocodile can harm them.

CLEAN THE CROCODILE'S PONDS The workers will face a higher risk while cleaning the crocodile's pond as crocodile is a large, carnivorous

Enclosure height is quite low. If the crocodile jump they might attack the visitors nearer to the enclosure.

There are monkeys hanging around the

trees without proper cage.

At the entrance, visitors were given bracelet and the guards will make sure that them wear it before entering the park as a pass gate.

Malacca Crocodile Farm can be classified as strategic place.

There are a lot of stall that offer a variety of

traditional food like 'belacan', 'rojak petis', 'budu' and many more.

Malacca Crocodile Farm has provided a lot of activities like Haunted House and Jurassic Park.

The price also affordable, which only

RM 10 per entrance for adults and RM 6 for

kids.

weakness

There is another fee for the attractions that needed to be paid if they want to use it beforehand.

Malaysia in Miniature does not meet the concept

that has at Malacca Crocodile Farm which more

focusing on nature.

The disposal area which is not well managed. The area is located near to surau which gives bad view to the visitors.

Many areas in Malacca Crocodile Farm that had not been properly used. The

big aviary corner has only few species and it is quite difficult for the visitor

to watch the species there.

Malacca Crocodile Farm does not provide enough brochure. Brochures helps in attracting people to get to know more about the place.

Usually if a school organize a tour, or education trip to Malacca, Malacca Crocodile

Farm will be on the itinerary first.

Malacca Crocodile Farm is located at Ayer Keroh where a lot of other attraction such as the Malacca Zoo and Mini Malaysia Park near it.

Unfavourable socio-economic environment may threaten

farms' operations and survival of the species.

The crocodiles need to live in an ecosystem where there is balanced natural order in places.

Unstable socio-political environment is not conducive for a

normal operations.

Unstable socio-political environment might threaten the image of the farm in the eyes of the tourists.

Malacca Crocodile Farm faces difficult challenges and changes in the years

before. Upheavals and changes surrounding them.

Having examined several critical functions of leisure-service management in depth, overall the farm in the average level conditions.
