Whether you want an intimate or grand occasion, Shendish Manor

offers you the perfect location for the wedding of your dreams.

Included within the cost we provide beautiful floral arrangements of

your choice and design from our recommended florist, which can be

later used for your wedding breakfast and evening reception.

The Hotel has two charming outdoor gazebos that are licensed for

civil ceremonies and partnerships, allowing you to say ‘I do’ in the

stunning grounds with your loved ones.

Alternatively our Apsley Suite, Orangery Restaurant, Dickinson Suite

and Longman Suite can offer indoor ceremonies and partnerships

for small ceremonies of 10 up to large ceremonies of 320 guests.

With traditional décor in keeping with the Manor House theme, both suites

provide you with the ultimate luxury experience with; four poster beds, roll top baths,

dressing tables, chandeliers and fantastic views of the Manor House grounds.

Here at Shendish Manor we can provide you with exclusive use of our 68 bedrooms,

meaning only your wedding guests are onsite on the night of your special day.

These bedrooms are included within the ‘Exclusively yours’ venue cost and

also includes breakfast for your guests, meaning that your celebrations can

continue the next day in your private breakfast room!

25 miles north-west of Central London, Shendish Manor is in Apsley,

just outside Hemel Hempstead and accessed off the A4251 between

Kings Langley and Hemel. Both M1 and M25 motorways are less than a

10-minute drive away; Heathrow is a half-hour drive and Luton Airport

barely 15 minutes away.

The ‘Exclusively Yours’ wedding package includes these rooms on a Bed & Breakfast basis; if you’d like to consider a

contribution for the bedrooms from your guests, our guideline rates are :-

New Wing Double/Twin or Manor House Double B&B - £100.00

New Wing or Manor House Superior B&B - £130.00

Manor House Family or Four Poster B&B - £150.00

All prices are based on 2 people sharing

If additional beds or cots are required for children then there is a charge of £20.00 for an extra bed and £15.00 for a

cot.

Please check with your Wedding Co-ordinator so we can advise which rooms the additional beds can fit into. The

additional beds are for children. We can only have two adults in a room.

Although the bedrooms are pre-paid as part of the exclusive use venue hire, on check-in guests are asked for a

card pre-authorisation for any extras that they may want to charge to their bedrooms during their stay.

So that you can allocate the rooms you want to your guests we will provide you with a floor plan and a bedroom

allocation sheet. The completed allocation sheet will need to be returned to us no later than two weeks prior to

your wedding.

Important to know We will allocate one new wing and one manor house bedroom for you to use on the morning of the wedding.

Please speak to your wedding co-ordinator if you would like a late license for your bar and music until 01.00. There is an

additional charge for this, and it is subject to availability.

Your suppliers can arrive from 08:00 to start setting up in the Manor House and Apsley Suite.

The cloakroom will be open for your guest’s arrival and departure, the cloakroom staff will operate a ticket system for

guest items.

Music The doors to the Apsley Suite gardens will need to be closed once your evening music starts or at 21:00, whichever is first

and then remain closed throughout the evening.

If guests would like to go outside after this time, they can use the Orangey Terrace, Manor Gardens or the front of the

Hotel.

Your chosen DJ or Band will need to plug into our speakers which provides a sound of 95 decibels.

Our outside licensed gazebos are available throughout the year for your ceremony, alternative arrangements are

always made should there be a change in the weather.

Bars As there are three bars available, please discuss with your wedding co-ordinator which of the bars you would like to use

and at what time. The bars can operate on either a cash/card basis or bar tab basis, again please discuss with your

wedding co-ordinator.

For the ‘Exclusively yours wedding breakfast, using your own catering’ package the Apsley Bar and Manor Bar will be

cleared down if required. If you would like Shendish Manor’s staff to stock and run your bar this can be done at a small

fee.

The residents bar will be open from 00:00 until 02:00.
