Making the Page

This is the main photograph I have used for the page, I have used the particular font for the artist name and then painted the ink drips onto the font to add a more gothic edge. For the rest of the page I chose the “break-it” font to add an element of coherence and consistency.

Making the Page

Here I have started to separated the page into columns for my text. I have chosen a simple text so that it is readable and its not too much with the rest of the text and images.

I then changed the font to add to the style of the page as well as making it easier to read and therefore more eye-catching to the reader. I also separated the first column with a black line to make it distinct from the main article while also making it look more exciting as to make readers want to read it. This was then emphasised by putting the title of the sub article in a black box to add further contrast.

I decided to add more text to the article itself to make it more interesting and add more depth. However this clashed with the quote the was originally next to the image so I had to resolve this by transferring it into the grey column containing the sub-article.
