making disciples of all nations
DESCRIPTION
“Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy, because of your partnership in the Gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on until completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:3-6 It is the greatest privilege to be involved fulltime in seeking to fulfil the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. As our Lord Jesus promised: “No one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for Me and the Gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields – and with them persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.” Mark 10:29-30TRANSCRIPT
Making Disciples of all Nations
He was mauled by a lion, charged by rhino and laid low with fever on over 60 occasions. The afflictions Livingstone was called to endure while opening up Africa for the Gospel, and opposing the slave trade, tested the limits of human endurance. Leeches, maggots, putsi flies, cholera, pneumonia, sunburn, huge sores, tropical ulcers and malaria plagued him.
