Makeblock Neuron Inventor Kit Highlight Features

Simple and Durable

Building blocks are connected in a snap with magnetic Pogo Pins, with the added benefit of making each block more durable.

With or Without Coding

Neuron gadgets can be built with or without coding. With the Neuron app, devices constructed out of connected blocks can be programmed to create unique games and other devices. Users can also simply assemble the blocks to make creative gadgets without needing to write any code.

Flow-based Programming

The flow-based programming interface in the Neuron app enables beginners to easily create Neuron applications and add basic or advanced functionality (e.g. IoT) into their inventions without prior coding experience.

Gadget Ideas

The Neuron app comes with Invention Guides and video tutorials to show you how to get started building with the Inventor Kit. Follow, then lead with your own creative ideas.

Widely Extensible

Compatible with the Makeblock platform and LEGO® blocks, the Neuron allows for just as many fun games and toys as you have ideas.

Magnetic Design

The magnetic design at the back of Neuron blocks facilitates home use and lab work demonstrations. You can simply place your gadget on a fridge or a whiteboard to show it off and explain how it works.

mBlock Support

Neuron gadgets can be controlled and programmed using mBlock on desktop and the Neuron app on mobile devices.

Note: The release version of mBlock will differ significantly from the beta version.

Open SDK

The Neuron protocol and library are both open-source. Everyone is encouraged to be a developer and share their ideas with the Neuron community.

With Makeblock Creative Cloud, you and your family and friends can easily control your Neuron gadgets remotely over the Internet.

Working Principle

Knock on the desk. The LED Panel will activate

when the Gyro Sensor detects vibrations.

Working Principle

Funny Touch is able to turn any conductive

object ( such as leaves and water) into a touch

switch. Touch the GND wire and metal clips to

make a sound. Clips of different color

combinations make different sounds.

Noisy Robot The robot will make a weird noise when shaken. It will get crazier when shaken heavier.

Working Principle

The different angles of the Gyro Senor

correspond to the different sounds of the

Buzzer. Shaking the Gyro Senor will change its

angles, producing different sounds

Telegraph

Send Morse Codes using a mock Telegraph.

Working Principle

Funny Touch is able to turn any conductive

object into a touch switch. The Buzzer beeps

when Funny Switches and GND Wire are

connected together. Short and long beeps

makes Morse code.

Working Principle

Working Principle

Funny Touch is able to turn any conductive object

Peace Keeper

Diffuse the bomb by taking of the clips

without triggering the alarm.

Working Principle

The Buzzer will buzz when the Gyro Sensor

detects a vibration. A buzzing Buzzer means

the bomb has exploded, meaning game over.
