Yair Naveh, born 1957, was recruited to the IDF in 1975 and joined the Golani Brigade, where he started as a Company Commander and eventually became Brigade Commander. Between the years 1989-1991 he served as a Brigade Commander on the Israel- Lebanon border. Between the years 1991-1993 he served as a Commander of the Golani Brigade. Between the years 1994-1996 he served as Head of the Safety Division in the Ground Forces. Between the years 1996-1999 he served as a senior infantry and paratroops officer. Between the years 1999-2001 he served as the Gaza Division Commander. Between the years 2001-2003 he served as a senior official in the Ground Forces. Between the years 2003-2005 he served as GOC Home Front Command. Between the years 2005-2007 he served as GOC Central Command. Between the years 2008-2010 he served as CEO of the Citypass Company. Maj. Gen. Naveh is a graduate of the Command and Headquarters College and the National Security College, has a Bachelors degree in History and Political Science and a Masters degree in Business Management. Maj. Gen. Naveh is married, a father of four and a grandfather of three.

Maj. Gen. Yair Naveh, born 1957, was recruited to the IDF in 1975 and joined the Golani

Brigade, where he started as a Company Commander and eventually became Brigade

Between the years 1989-1991 he served as a Brigade Commander on the Israel- Lebanon
