The Majestic Venice Wheelchair Shore Excursion will start with a private wheelchair accessible water taxi will pick you up at the cruise dock to bring you to the St. Mark’s neighborhood.



• You’ll have the morning to visit St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace on your own pace.


• In the afternoon, you can explore St. Mark’s neighborhood using the Venice Accessibility Guide by Sage Traveling.


Your Land & Sea Venice Accessible Tour will begin at 5:30 pm with one hour spent in St. Mark’s neighborhood.


• You and your guide will then board a wheelchair accessible water taxi to begin your one hour tour on the Grand Canal. • The Grand Canal tour will allow you to see many fascinating sights in a short period of time.


• Upon completion of the tour, you will be dropped off back at the cruise dock.


• If your cruise ship doesn’t arrive until the afternoon (only leaving you a half day to see this incredible city), this tour allows you to see as much as possible in a short period of time.


Accessible Cruise Excursion Itinerary

Like all of our Venice wheelchair cruise excursions, your day will begin with a wheelchair accessible water taxi will meet you at the cruise dock and transport you to the famous St. Mark’s Square.



• Visit the Doge’s Palace, the Campanile, and the Bridge of Sighs (ramped bridge to view the Bridge of Sighs shown on the right). • Have a cup of coffee at the tables lining St. Mark’s Square or shop in some of the wheelchair accessible boutiques. • You are free to explore St. Mark’s neighborhood using the Venice Accessibility Guide by Sage Traveling which shows you the accessible routes between the tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops.
