DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and carry out routine scheduled maintenance work as directed Respond with urgency to all breakdowns and diagnosing breakdown problems Adhere to all Environmental, Health and Safety policies, procedures and regulations Fit new parts and ensure equipment is working efficiently and safely Escalate machine breakdowns to appropriate managers if not resolved within agreed timescales Make recommendations to reduce machine downtime and improve process performance Assist with the installation of new equipment as required Maintain general housekeeping and safe working area Cover multiple shifts as required Actively supports the Maintenance Manager in achieving departmental goals PERSON SPECIFICATION: Ideally qualified to ONC Mechanical Engineering Qualified to Electrical 17th Edition. (Electrical Engineer only) Previous experience in a manufacturing or recycling environment Must be able to operate in a fast-paced organisation and handle multiple projects simultaneously within set timeframes Must be able to interact effectively and diplomatically with all company personnel under minimum supervision and be responsive to the requirements of department members and other departments with whom interaction is necessary Must be flexible with work schedules and be available to work shifts, with or without advanced notice Closing Date: 2nd August 2019 Maintenance Engineer (Electro-Mechanical) North West of England Interested?
