CAUTION:
• When replacing the periodically replaced parts, be sure to unplug the power plug of the main body
from the power outlet.
28.1 External section
28.1.1 Replacing the ozone filter /12
A. Periodically replaced parts/cycle
• Ozone filter /12 : Every 4,500,000 prints
B. Procedure
1. Loosen 3 screws [1] and remove the exhaustcover [2].
2. Remove 3 ozone filters /12 [2] from the exhaustcover [1].
3. Reinstall the above-mentioned parts following theremoval steps in reverse.
4. After replacing the ozone filters /12, conduct thefollowing steps.
- Counter reset of the parts counter No.48.

• Conveyance suction filter : Every 4,500,000 prints
B. Procedure
1. Loosen 2 screws [1] and remove the conveyancesuction filter cover [2].
2. Remove the conveyance suction filter [1]. 3. Reinstall the above-mentioned parts following the
removal steps in reverse. 4. After replacing the conveyance suction filter, con-
duct the following steps.
- Counter reset of the parts counter No.50.

A. Periodically replaced parts/cycle
• Develop suction filter : Every 4,500,000 prints
B. Procedure
1. Loosen 2 screws [1] and remove the developingsuction filter cover [2].
2. Remove the developing suction filter [1]. 3. Reinstall the above-mentioned parts following the
removal steps in reverse. 4. After replacing the developing suction filter, con-
duct the following steps.
- Counter reset of the parts counter No.49.

28.1.4 Replacing the dust-proof filter
A. Periodically replaced parts/cycle
• Dust-proof filter : Every 3,000,000 prints
B. Procedure
1. Remove the upper cover /Rt. (Refer to P.406) 2. Remove the LPH filter assy [1] by sliding it in the
arrow-marked directions [2] and [3] in this order.
3. Remove 3 dust-proof filters [2] from the LPH filterassy [1].
4. Reinstall the above-mentioned parts following theremoval steps in reverse.
5. After replacing the dust-proof filters, conduct thefollowing steps.
- Counter reset of the parts counter No.51.
