Fund Administration & AccountingAt the heart of our informationmanagement platform is Investran, theindustry-leading private equity softwaresolution from FIS (formerly SunGard).

Investran lets us effectively manage the entirefund life cycle from inception to realisationwith powerful granular fund accounting, reportingand relationship management functionality. It supports multiple asset types and structures andis both highly resilient and highly-secure.

In addition to the standard processes required to deliverthe service, Mainspring has deployed workflow technologiesto better manage the service delivery and to yield operationalinsight into the state of the processes (for internal management useand for our fund manager clients), as well as allowing Mainspring to robustly support the delivery of flexible client specific services.

ReportingMainspring’s Reporting Services give fund managers and investors

transparency and self-service access to granular data, documents,reports and visualisation dashboards throughout the lifecycle

of the fund. This is an area of continuous innovation and we are focused on helping improve our clients’ operational

efficiency and adding value to their investor relations service.

Mainspring’s Reporting Services deliver investor, fund, and fund manager data to each stakeholder group in

a flexible manner, either as standard or bespoketemplated reports, as structured data, or in innovativelive and interactive dashboards. The service isprovided to fund managers flexibly with a variety ofreporting formats, client branding and enhancedsecurity options and is delivered from marketleading highly resilient infrastructure.

Mainspring’s Reporting Service is delivered via secure server (Microsoft Azure) for no-touchretrieval or an online portal (FIS DX portal & Tableau), both of which are integrated with Investran.

Office IT & CloudMainspring’s back-office IT systems are Microsoftbased and delivered via a managed service by a

Microsoft Gold Partner with ISO 27001accreditation.

The company’s communications network is resilient,and Mainspring’s data is backed-up daily to a UK

based data centre and systems are tested annually forbusiness continuity.

To support flexible working for staff and to allow forscreenshare collaboration with clients we have a company wide

deployment of the collaboration and unified communicationstools provided by Microsoft Office 365.

Multilayered Cyber SecurityCybersecurity underpins Mainspring’s systems. We engage a multilayered approach usingindustry leading technology, robust processes and continuous staff awareness training.

The FIS services are securely hosted and are protected with FIS’s 3 Line Defence thatfollows the operational risk standards set by Basel II and adheres to other regulatoryguidelines to provide data security and service continuity.

The back office is protected by a range of technologies to guard against viruses, trojans,ransomware, malware and attempts to compromise data integrity. Remote and mobileaccess is managed using Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security allowing our team tosupport our clients securely on the move using their own mobile devices.
