Why Build a Relationship?

1.To gain something from the person • Help – physical, financial, emotional, spiritual • Experience – years, area,• Intelligence/wisdom/knowledge• Defence• etc

2.To Know the person more• Get closer – stay around• Be watchful• Love what he/she likes• Don’t argue • obedience

Before Building a Relationship, you must know the person

Who is God? - John 4:23, 1 John 4:8,16

Where is He? – Revelation 4:2-5

What does He look like? –Exodus 24:10

Why do I need to Build a Relationship with Him? –Psalm 24:1

How can we exist with him? – 1 Corinthians 13:13

How can we get His attention? – Psalm 42:2, 1 chronicles 13:3

What drives God’s Passion?•Faith:

of the day’s activity. You may decide to do it outside to feel the cool morning breeze

9:00am –9:05am Read a Psalm of praise back to Him. Tell Him what you feel for Him in adoration and total submission

12:00noon –12:30pm It is noontime – half of the workday is gone. Tell Him thank you for allowing you cross over to the other half of the workday. Thank Him for all that transpired while you worked

6:00pm – 6:30pm Thank Him for the day. You are probably now at home. Call the family together or a neighbour and worship Him together
