Analysis of existing music magazine
The name of the magazine is bright red with a white/black lining and is the largest text on the front cover which makes it stand out, also it is on he top corner so it doesn’t take to much attention of the rest of the cover.
Image of Pete Doherty on the right side of the cover. Recognisable celebrity
Main cover line is the same colour as the name of the magazine and is larger than the other cover lines, it’s the name of the artist on the front cover which would catch the target audiences’ eyes as they would want to read it.
The banner across the top of the cover highlights one of the big articles in the magazine.
Yellow background - goes well with the colours of the text and the image.
The text here is in white and highlighted with a bright red, both colours compliment each other and stand out quite well.
