Our Euro Area and, most of all, Spanish industrial
forecasts have improved thanks to the improvement in
the confidence indicators and growing exports of
goods.

SUMMARY OF MACROECONOMIC PROJECTIONS
GDP in 2013 for the Euro Area is expected to be around the interval [-1.4, 0.2%] and around the interval [-1.9, –1.1%] for Spain. In 2014 intervals are [-0.6, 1.8%], EA, and [-1.5, 1.7%], Spain.
GDP in Spanish regions will show a dispersion of 4.6 pp and 3.2 pp, in 2013 and 2014,
respectively.

It will be 2014 before we see positive average growth of the Spanish GDP, 0.1% (±1.6),
thanks to better than expected recovery of domestic demand.
Capital investment and exports of goods were responsible to the 0.2 pp reduction in the
expected GDP decrease in the second quarter, to a quarterly 0.1%.
