The Velvet Suns

The band

The band have been together for four month now, the lead singer Dan was previously in a band called The Picnics who were very punk/rock. The Velvet Suns are very similar to bands such as The Wytches, Sonic Youth and The Velvet Underground.

Interests Dan’s interests he loves listening to music, reading NME magazine to find out about new music, going to concerts and socialising with friends.

Ben’s interests he likes playing his guitar, meeting up with friends, and writing new music

Joe’s interests he likes photography and taking images, he enjoys playing his guitar, having parties and is very social

Will’s interests he likes going to concerts, always wants to see his favourite bands live, enjoys festivals and having fun with friends on nights out

Their aspirations

Are to become ‘big’ they are really striving to make it in the music industry and get somewhere with it. They are set and smart about what they are doing, and are looking to go far. They enjoy playing small time gigs but would like to be able to become big enough to play some of their favourite festivals such as reading and leeds.
