PROVISIONAL MERIT LIST for admission to Post-Graduate (PG) Programmes shall be uploaded on University Website on or before

7th August 2017. Those candidates who have not submitted their Final Year Mark-Sheet till date are once again advised to submit the

same to the office of the undersigned or email at [email protected] on or before 5th August 2017 (5:00 PM) positively.

The last date for submission of Final Year Mark-sheet shall not be extended further, in any case. The candidates who fail to

submit the same within the stipulated date and time will not be considered for selection.

NOTE: In all Programmes of Study, out of total 30 seats each, 08 seats were reserved for OBC Category; 04 seats were reserved for

SC Category; 02 seats were reserved for ST Category and the rest 16 seats were allocated to Open Category. It may further

be noted that in each Programme of Study, out of total 30 seats, 01 seat was reserved for Person with Disability (PwD),

however, none were found eligible against PwD Category.

2. PROCEDURE ADOPTED FOR PREPARATION OF FINAL MERIT LIST: The aforesaid Final Merit List has been prepared on the

basis of following:

STEP 1: The candidates who have secured the Minimum Eligibility Marks in the last Qualifying Examination (i.e., 10+2 Level) as

detailed below, have been considered for selection:

Minimum Cut-Off Marks as detailed below (as conveyed to the candidates vide Clause 4 in the Important Instructions to the

Candidates dated 19th July 2017 uploaded on the University Website on 19th July 2017) have been considered for final selection:

3. While uploading the Provisional Merit List on the University Website on 30th July 2017, the applicants were advised and

given opportunity to bring to the notice of the undersigned, the discrepancies / mistakes, if any, in the said Provisional

Merit List. Consequently, after taking into consideration valid requests / suggestions / corrections from the applicants /

Guardians which was in accordance with the conditions laid down by the University from time to time, the Final Merit List

has been prepared. As such, the candidates whose names were in the Provisional Merit List but did not find place in the

Final Merit List attached below, have no (NO) claim for admission in the University based on the Provisional Merit List

uploaded on 30th July 2017.

(IMPORTANT NOTE: However, the University reserves the right to fill-up the VACANT SEATS on the

basis of NEW CRITERIA to be decided after the Admissions are completed as per

the First Merit List as found in ANNEXURE – 1.

4. The selected candidates as per Final Merit List are required to register and verify their academic qualifications / documents in

person only at Temporary Campus of the University at Zila School Campus, Motihari, District – East Champaran, Bihar w.e.f. 2nd August

2017 (Wednesday) to 4th August 2017 (Friday) from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Break: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM) as per schedule given below:

the candidate may be refunded as per University norms.

8. The First Waiting List for the seats which remain vacant after the first round, will be displayed / uploaded on University Notice Board /

Website on or before 7th August 2017. Therefore, the candidates are hereby advised to check the University Website regularly.

NOTE: The fees payable by the students is fixed by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the

Academic Council / Finance Committee and is notified in the Admission Brochure / Prospectus

1. An additional fee towards ‘Professional Development Fund’ shall be chargeable as under:

(a) Rs.5000/- per Semester from the students admitted to M.B.A., M.S.W. and B.Tech. Programme of Study.

(b) Rs.1000/- per Semester from the students admitted to UG Programme(s) of Study excluding B.Com. (Honours)

and B.Tech.

(c) Rs.2000/- per Semester for B.Com. (Honours) Programme of Study which shall be used in Skill Enhancement

Activities such as Tally, Accounts etc. apart from other professional development activities.

2. CORE Services: The Community Outreach and Extension (CORE) Services – Programme initiated in the

University is of an example of multi-disciplinary academic/research/extension work. Core Services has three

sub-units namely:

• SERVE : Service for Empowerment and Rural Voluntary Efforts

• SETU : Service for Empowerment and Tribal Upliftment

• SUDHAR : Service for Urban Development and Human Action Research

3. There shall be separate fee for issuance of duplicate Identification Card of the University as decided by the

Competent Authority in this regard.

4. Teaching Learning Resource Fund fee comprises the charges for resource platform(s) and/or material for

course(s) of study by concerned faculty member.

5. Health & Insurance Fee comprises the charges for insurance to be provide to students admitted in the university

and other related charges such as health awareness, medical check-up camp etc.

6. Training & Placement Fee shall be used in capacity building of the students, pre-placements talks, campus drive for placements etc. to make them employable.

7. Subject Association Fund shall be used in students’ club/society related to concerned Programme of Study to create the interest of students in particular subject by student centric activities, academic and quasi academic in nature.

8. University Magazine Fee hall be charged towards Parisar Pratibimb and Parisar Pratibha- monthly and annual magazine of the university respectively.

9. Tuition fee for offering audit course and ‘I’ grade will be Rs.100/- per credit.

10. For ‘F’, ‘I’ and audit course, examination fee will be Rs.100/- per credit.

11. The University shall charge separate fee for issuing the following certificate(s)/documents as decided by competent authority:
