Geoturn Srl was founded in 2009 as a manufacturer of sound absorbing barriers. Our company is built on the combined experience of the founder and the engineering staff in providing noise abatement solutions for road and rail infrastructures by designing, manufacturing and installing various types of sound-absorbing barriers.

Geoturn employs leading edge technologies to develop solutions using steel, aluminium, wood, cement, PMMA, polycarbonate or glass panels, all in compliance with applicable regulations.

CERTIFICATIONS COMPANY STAFFGeoturn Srl has been certified by SOA in the category OS34 class II and has obtained product certification in compliance with UNI EN 1793-1794. The company has been awarded the ISO 9001 Quality Certificate and has also achieved certification to OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety. In addition Geoturn affixes the CE marking on its “noise barrier systems”, which ensure their compliance with the functional requirements set out in the harmonised standard UNI EN 14388 (Road traffic noise reducing devices – Specifications) as well as guaranteeing both the product’s acoustic performance, and its mechanical, safety and environmental compatibility properties.The certifications that Geoturn has obtained enable the company to bid for national and international tenders, and guarantee the employment of highly qualified personnel who work to strict production and safety standards.

Geoturn employs a technical team of 12 qualified professionals able to assist customers with the feasibility analysis through to design, production and after sales service. They employ a cutting edge three-dimensional CAD software and a fully-automated production system for the profiling and coating processes. Geoturn also boasts an extensive sales and logistics service network throughout Italy and Europe. Our in-house staff is partnered with a team of external experts specialising in the installation and erection of the barriers.

PRODUCTS

MAGNUM PANEL BRIK PANELStandard sound-absorbing panel for road, motorway and railway applications. The panels are available with mineral wool or with polyester infill. The outer shell is produced utilising the clinching technique (without rivets) and can be made of aluminium or steel. The products are certified to UNI EN 1793 and UNI EN 1794 and bear the CE marking.

Special patented structure with alternating vertical sound-absorbing panels and shatterproof glass panels. It meets the specific acoustic requirements of the rail and road sector where it is indispensable to achieve high acoustic absorption while limiting the impact of the structure on the landscape. When travelling along the railway or the road at a faster speed than 50 km/h the barrier seems to disappear and become totally transparent.

With a view to full integration and respect for nature we have created a series of sound-absorbing panels with a wood look finish. The aim of this panel is to further reduce the visual environmental impact while maintaining the same functional characteristics as a Magnum panel.

Panels made of top quality timber that is autoclave-treated in accordance with a certified process and finished with a water-based paint to guarantee maximum durability and minimum ecological impact.

These panels are made of PMMA-Polycarbonate or glass and incorporated within a metal frame optimised for weight and efficiency. The material of the transparent element can vary in thickness, colour, insulating properties, etchings, etc.

A wide range of panels, from a simple road wash base to high performance sound-absorbing panels, with varied sound-absorbing properties.
