SUMMARY i)
This report is a Geophysical Survey, as required by The Ministry of Northern Development and Mines for assess ment work purposes.foil owing the recommendations set forth in the Mining Act Regulations, 1991.
The report includes an introduction to the pro perty, general geology, field results and conclusions based on the field survey.
Technical data is provided in the Assessment data form found at the back of this report. Field data is com piled on the accompanying plan map found at the back of this report.
MAGNETOMETER SURVEY
559505 ONTARIO LIMITED
TIE-ON GROUP
ELLIOTT TOWNSHIP
LARDER LAKE MINING DIVISION
DISTRICT OF COCHRANE, ONTARIO
INTRODUCTION
The claim group consists of five (5) contiguous un- patented mining claims, two of which are included in this re port.
The claims are located in the south-west section of Elliott township. Ownership of the claims has been attested to by 559505 Ontario Ltd., 103 Government Road East, Kirkland Lake, Ontario, and was not independently ascertained by the writer.
A new west baseline was established from the No. l claim post of claim L-1185350 for a distance of 2,900 feet. Picket lines were established every 200 feet and stations were established every 100 feet.
The line cutting and chaining was done by Wendy K. Weller.
The drafting, contouring and report was done by Wendy K. Weller.
ACCESS AND LOCATION
Access is from Kirkland Lake towards the east for 13 kilometers to the Harker-Access road (Highway #672). North on Highway 672 for approximately 28 kilometers and then east approximately 6 kilometers on forest access roads going through Elliott and Thackeray townships. (See Figures la) and Ib).

GENERAL GEOLOGY
The O.G.S. Report 165, titled Geology of Thackeray, Elliott, Tannahill and Dokis Townships, by L.S. Jensen, indi cates the predominent bedrock is basaltic and andesitic volcanic

rocks, primarily being unsubdivided iron rich basaltic and ande- si tic rocks.
These rock types are fine grained massive flows of a black to dark green colour. Some textures which may occur are diabasic to gabbroic massive flows usually occurring in the centre of the flows. Structural characteristics occur as pillows, flow tops and hyaloclastite. (See Table of Lithology),
INSTRUMENTATION
Magnetometer Survey:
This system uses a backward motion of spinning pro tons of a hydrogen atom within a fluid of hydrogen and carbon. These spinning magnetic protons are caused to have two opposite poles by applying a magnetic field using a current within a coil of wire. When the current is stopped, the protons precess about the earth's magnetic field and in turn generate a small current in the wire. This frequency of precession is propor tional to the earth's total magnetic field.
This instrument is read directly in gammas which is the absolute value of the earth's total field for that station.
PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION OF RESULTS
The field data is presented on a map at a horizontal scale of one inch to four hundred feet, Map No. 96/1, found at the back of this report.
The magnetic data is illustrated as isomagnetic con tours (contour interval 100 gammas) on a map of corrected magnetic values recorded at each station.
The magnetic relief is very low, it ranges from 58317 gammas to 58723 gammas. The magnetic trend is in the north to northeast direction.
There are two large magnetic low anomalies in this survey.
1) The large magnetic low anomalie which crosses PL 2W to PL 10W.
2) The smaller magnetic anomalie crosses PL14W to PL18W.
In the northwest corner of the grid a high magnetic band runs northeast.

Due to the low magnetic relief, this usually indicates little or no change in rock type. .
CONCLUSION
The grid is presently being extended over the rest of the claim block and both magnetometer and electromagnetic surveys are planned to be read. When the surveys are completed, the information will be assessed and projects for the group will be determined at that time.
Respectfully submitted,
