Assembly Instructions:

Wireless Keyboard

1. Select desired location on the ceiling and assemble the projector mount on it.

2. Mount your projector.

3. Attach MagixBox on the projector mount using Super Clamp.

4. Connect HDMI cable from MagixBox to the projector.

5. Connect power adapter for MagixBox and Projector to standard AC outlet.

6. Power on the projector and adjust the display area.

7. Start the MotionMagix software and follow given steps.

Attach the ceiling plate to the ceiling using the dry wall screws.

Step 1

Fix the extendable bar by rotating it in clockwise.

Attach the projector to the universal spider using the designated holes to screw in the four arms. Once done make sure all the screws from Step 3 are tightened.

Step 3

Attach the four arms to the universal spider using screws and washers. Do not completely tighten the screws yet.

Step 5

Carefully hook the ankle atop the universal spider to the middle piece at the end of the extendable bar attached to the ceilings. Tilt the ankle to ensure lens of projector points towards projection surface and tighten the screws on the ankle tightly to hold it firm and steady.

Tightly fix in the ball socket head into the designated hole on the MagixBox by rotating it clockwise.

Carefully lift the MagixBox with the extension arm and use the super clamp to attach it the projector mount fixed to the ceiling. Tighten the super clamp using the long knob till the grip is very firm and steady.

Adjust the angle of the attached MagixBox using the knob on the ball socket to make sure the sensor is approximately pointed towards the projection surface. Once adjusted, tighten the knob sufficiently to hold the MagixBox firm and steady.

A. Press the button (lock) & simultaneously pull the knob

B. Rotate it counter-clockwise (while pulling)

C. Release the knob & tighten it by rotating it in clockwise direction

Loop the safety cable around the extendable bar as shown and insert and lock the carabiner on the designated whole on the top backside of the MagixBox.

Connect the MagixBox and the Projector to power supply and connect them to each other using the HDMI cord.

Insert the wireless keyboard’s dongle into the MagixBox’s USB port.

Alternate Setup (When projector is pre-installed)

1. Unscrew the Super clamp from the ball socket rod.

2. Unscrew the connector piece and middle piece from the rest of the projector mount.

3. Unscrew the middle piece from the connector piece.

4. Screw in the free end of the ball socket rod into the connector piece and secure it from the other end using a nut.

5. Screw in the MagixBox to the ball socket end securely.

6. Screw in the new assembly to either the extension rod of the projector mount or the ceiling plate directly.

Steps:

MagixBoxTM powering instructions1. The MagixBoxTM system automatically powers ON when connected to AC power.

2. On successful booting of the OS, the pre-installed MotionMagixTM software will automatically start.

3. Connect the system to the internet via WiFi.

4. Log In into MotionMagixTM software if you are an existing user OR simply Sign Up to get registered as a new user.

5. If you accidentally shutdown the system, just switch OFF the mains AC power, wait for 10-15 seconds and switch ON the mains again to Power ON the system.

Your MagixBox is designed and tested to meet the latest standards of safety for Interactive technology use. However, to ensure your and the device safety, it’s important that you read the following safety instructions:

Do not use this product near water or a heat source such as a radiator. Openings on the chassis are for ventilation, do not block or cover these openings. Make sure to leave plenty of space around the system for ventilation. Use this product in environments with ambient temperatures between 0 to 55 C. Do not spill water or any other liquid on your system. Do not walk on the power cord or anything to rest on it. Do not look into the lens while the projector is ON. The strong light from the lamp may damage your eyes. Do not overload the power outlet as this can result in fire or electrical shock.
