Econt, together with Extense Web Development, provides a new opportunity for your business. If your e-shop is on the Magento platform, you can connect it to the Econt shipping module in just a few easy steps. In this way you will manage shipment delivery to your customers with just one click and we will handle the shipping instead of you.

Econt shipping module installation and settings

Step 1

1. Download the installation file for the module from here

2. Extract the archive files on your computer.

1. Upload the files to the server of your e-shop using an FTP client (e.g. FileZilla) or any other method of file transfer. Make sure you upload the files to the root

directory of your e-shop.

NB: When uploading, you may see a message that the /app and /skin directories will be overwritten - confirm. Warning! Before uploading the files, make a backup

copy of the /app and /skin directories. When overwriting, some hosting servers first delete the whole content of the existing directory and then write the new files.

The backup copy of these two directories will allow you to restore their content.

2. You can now close your FTP client.

1. Log into the admin panel of your e-shop.

2. Select menu Система -> Управление на кеш (System -> Cache Management).

3. On the Cache Storage Management screen, check all cache types (Configuration, Layouts, Translations, etc.).

4. Select action Обнови (Refresh) in the top right-hand side of the screen.

5. Press the Изпрати (Submit) button.

Now it is time to configure the shipping methods.

1. In the Admin panel of your e-shop, go to menu Система -> Конфигурация -> Начини на доставка -> Еконт Експрес (System -> Configuration -> Shipping Methods -> Еконт Експрес).

2. A page Начини на доставка will open to configure the module.

3. Fill in the fields as follows:Активна: Select Да.Тестов модел: Select Не. Optional Потребителско име and Парола: Enter a username and password for e-Econt.

4. Press the Обнови информацията button.

5. Wait and do not press anything else on the screen. The process may take a few minutes. If it takes more than 10 minutes, press the button again.Обнови информацията.

6. New fields will appear on the same screen. Complete them according to the needs of your business.

7. Press the Запиши конфигурация button.

Step 5

1. Go to menu Система -> Конфигурация -> Методи на плащане (System -> Configuration -> Payment Methods).

2. On the Методи на плащане screen, press the Еконт Експрес наложен платеж button. A new field will open below.

3. In the Активно field, select Да.

4. Press the Запиши конфигурация button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Step 6

1. Go to menu Система -> Конфигурация -> Настройка валути.

2. On the Настройка Валути screen, press the Валутни опции button. A new field will open below.

3. Select option Български лев in the three fields: Base CurrencyDefault Display CurrencyAllowed Currencies

4. Press the Запиши конфигурация button.

With this last step your Magento e-shop has been fully integrated with Econt.
