This font is quite fitting for my magazine as the genre is punk rock. It is quite futuristic and new, which would begin to deceive the audience. The connotation would be that the magazine is from the future and the articles within will be correct and the magazine is reliable and trustworthy. The denotation is the magazine has a futuristic title. It is has rounded off and right angled corners to show that the magazine is formal when serious issues are being spoken about but can also be in formal and more up with the times .

This font is good but will not quite fit the genre of my magazine. It is not easy to reads which could potentially scare off customer, but it does stand out and is very interesting and different. The lines within the text make it look like it is moving and bouncing. the connotation would be that the magazine is cluttered and has a lot going on inside and would be worth the money. The denotation would be the lines were placed to give the plain title a more unique look to it.

This font is also quite futuristic and would do the same effect as the top font, but the text is pushed together. The connotation of this would be that the magazine will be

cluttered and packed with information and will give the reader exactly what they need to know. It also very clear also so even though it is cluttered it will still get to the point

inside the magazine. Really the Masthead is pushed together to give it a different approach to all

the others.

This font is similar to the second one but is different with the colour. This font is good but will not quite fit the genre of my magazine. This font would be okay for the magazine as it has a sketched look to it. The connotation is that it is sketchy as it is a rouge magazine, a magazine that doesn’t follow the rules it tells you things you aren’t supposed to know and will draw the customers in as they think their getting secret information. It’s really sketchy because it gives a filled effect to the masthead.
