The pictures used are that of college pupils, the use of this shows that this magazine is for the pupils of ‘Titus salt school’. In addition to this, the colour scheme is one of a professional nature so this conveys the idea that this school is very professional and achieving its goals; furthermore the colour scheme fits with the background image, yet contrasts with the pupils to draw attention to the pictures.

Both of the images used are of pupils, their expressions and use of clothing convey that this is a happy welcoming school where all stereotypes are welcomed. The people in the images are making eye contact with the audience which makes the reader feel like this magazine is ideal for them.

Headlines: The headlines used in this magazine contour the main image to draw attention to the casual nature of the pupils. In addition to this the headlines are outlines in blue and to fit the colour scheme but also contrast with the white of the texts to make it eye catching. The Headlines them selves are interesting to pupils who are considering this college as the trip to Berlin adds excitement to school.

Masthead: The masthead of this cover is located at the top right hand corner opposite the schools logo to give the name relevance and humour. The masthead has a slight glow surrounding it to makes it more subtle but the contrasting blue outline with the white text make the masthead the most eye drawing characteristic of the magazine cover.
