Page 11: Magazine analysis

After close analysis of all three magazines I have picked up on certain things that they all have in common for example each magazines colour scheme is made up of contrasting colours, which allows for a more interesting page to look at. All the magazines front covers have a very bold masthead but the colours and fonts they use allow it to be easy on the eyes for the reader. Each of the magazines lay out their pictures so the pages do not look cluttered and they break up long pieces of text by using an image, although only a few of these picture were captioned which I feel is important to give the reader more of an insight to the article and allows them to build a relationship with the people in the article. The text sizes in the magazines are fairly small which allows them to pack in as much information into the article that they can without the page looking crowded. The fonts of all the text in the magazines were kept simple but each one differentiated from the next giving the magazine a unique look but keeping it simple so it isn't to harsh on the page.
