It’s sold to an audience through things such as the star
rating and a quote that it gets from magazines. Also the
colours in the advert attract an audience. If its a film
advertisement then the cast listed can draw in an
audience. If its an music advert then the artist
themselves has an audience. The image also that
features in the advert can draw an audience.

Persuasive language is used to try and draw you in and
make you want to buy the product. Words such as ‘a
number one selling artist’ will be used when
accompanying a star rating. The images that are used
are sometimes images taken from the movie, or music
video, they can also can be images of the actual product
with a surrounding background colour.
