INSTRUCTIONS

This document consists of 6 questions. Questions 1 and 2 have definite answers. In

questions 3, 4, 5 and 6, there is no right or wrong answer. Participants shall be

judged on the basis of their creativity, analytical skills and feasibility.

Participants must answer briefly, and adhere to the word limit.

Participants must submit their solutions by 11:59 PM, 23rd January 2020, by mailing

it to the following email address: bc.srcc.2020.maestro@gmail.com.

The body of the mail and the PDF should contain the name and contact details of the

No late submissions will be entertained.

Multiple submissions will lead to disqualification.

Shortlisted participants will receive confirmation mails within 3-4 days. The list of

shortlisted participants will also be uploaded on the official Facebook handle.

The decision of the organisers shall be final and binding on all the participants.

The town has a new burger place called “Build-your-Burger”. They have five wheels that, for just a few dollars, you can spin to decide the burger chef, bun, cheese, patty and vegetables. When the

wheels stop spinning, you have your burger order! There have only been five customers so far, and

each time, a different chef, a different bun (Italian, Greek, brown, flat, or whole wheat), a different cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Swiss or Goat), a different patty (Bacon, Chicken, Ham,

Potato, or Pork), and a different vegetable filling (Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Kidney Beans, Onions, or

Peppers) have been chosen. From the information provided, can you determine the bun, cheese, patty and vegetable fillings of the burger made by each chef?

a) The burger filled with onions (which wasn't made by Adam) didn't have a Greek bun. Ben's burger had neither a whole wheat bun nor a potato patty. No burger had both kidney beans and mozzarella.

b) Charlie didn't make the bacon burger (whose bun was neither Italian nor flat). The pork burger (which didn't have a whole wheat bun) didn't include peppers. Dave's burger (which didn't have an

Italian bun) wasn't filled with tomatoes.

c) Ben's burger (which didn't include chicken) didn't have a brown bun. Neither the burger with a

whole wheat bun (which wasn't filled with onions) nor Adam's burger was filled with Swiss cheese.

Neither the burger with tomatoes nor the potato patty burger was the one that had an Italian bun. d) Neither Ethan's burger nor the pork burger was the one filled with onions. The brown bun burger (which wasn't Dave's) didn’t have peppers. Ben's burger (which didn't include kidney beans) wasn't

filled with Swiss cheese.

e) Charlie didn't make the potato burger. The pork burger (which wasn't made by Adam) didn’t have

mushrooms. The tomato burger was neither the one with a flat bun nor the one with mozzarella.

f) The hamburger (which wasn't filled with onions) didn't have an Italian bun. The kidney bean burger

didn’t have Goat cheese. Dave's burger (which didn't have a flat bun) wasn't filled with Swiss Cheese.

g) The burger with a Greek bun wasn't filled with tomatoes. The bacon burger had neither Parmesan

nor Goat cheeses. There were no peppers on the flat bun burger.
