Organised by : Supported by : Minimum Qualificaon Requirements - An engineering or architectural degree, or a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.), or Registered Architect (R.A.) with at least 3 years' verifiable experience in energy auding. OR - A non-engineering degree with at least 4 years' verifiable experience in energy auding. OR - A diploma holder in any technical field, with at least 6 years' verifiable experience in energy auding. - It is possible for a person with the correct academic qualificaon but not having the relevant energy related experience, to undertake the course and the examinaon. On passing the exam they will be awarded the Energy Auditor in Trainingstatus. They may apply for full cerficaon within 3 years without having to retake the examinaon. Their competencies will be assessed against the published requirements to ensure that they have the relevant experience to become cerfied. Date : 6 ~ 10 July 2020 (5 Days) Venue : PKNS BizPoint, Seksyen 7, Shah Alam, Selangor MAESCO Energy Auditor Cerficaon MAESCO is introducing a cerficaon scheme for energy auditor. The purpose is to raise the standards in energy auding service offered by energy service professionals. The scheme will make available a list of competent and qualified energy auditors from which interested pares can select suitably qualified personnel to conduct energy audits at their facility. The final objecve is to eventually only allow the cerfied energy auditor to be the one qualified to audit any facility especially those covered by EMEER 2008 Regulaons or any energy audit programme by the Government and their agencies. MAESCO will seek to get the cerficaon scheme to be acknowledged by ST. Two types of cerficaon are Introduced: 1.Cerfied Energy Auditor (Buildings) and 2.Cerfied Energy Auditor (Industry) . The minimum qualificaon for the cerficaon process will take into account the diversity of educaon and praccal experience an individual may have. The followings list the proposed requirements to be listed as a Cerfied Energy Auditor. Steps to Cerficaon: - Aend mandatory training course with MAESCO or approved training partner. - Aend and pass the required examinaon with 70%+ pass mark & pass oral interview . - Submit a complete cerficaon applicaon form and relevant documents to MAESCO. - MAESCO Commiee will review the applicaon and advice on their decision. Aſter compleng the enre requirement, MAESCO will award the candidate CEA cerficaon. An annual fee is applicable to maintain the cerficaon and cerfied energy auditors must remain up-to-date with changes in professional service by compiling 10 CPD points every two years.
