About Madison Industries

Madison Industries began in 1947 by Mr. Sam Frey. Madison began as a one-man sheet metal shop, and over the past 65 years has grown into one of the largest providers of pre-engineered structures. From Canopies, Carwashes, Modular Buildings, Tilt-Wall Construction, Architectural Panels, and Structural Steel, Madison continues to expand its product line. With each of these – quality, customer service and cost efficiency continue to be the focus of our business. Madison is a debt free and non-leveraged company. All properties, equipment, and materials are solely owned by the Frey family. Madison has three plants strategically placed across the US to better serve our valued customers.

How Modular Construction Works

• Buildings are constructed as one seamless building at Madison plant.

• Modules are completed faster and offer more flexible design solutions than conventional construction.

• Concurrent Construction: Building and site development occurs simultaneously resulting in significant time savings.

• Buildings are transported to the site between 80-90% complete.

• Modules are erected, sealed and interior/exterior finish work is completed.

• Buildings have a lower environmental impact on the site than traditional construction.

The industry has grown tremendously and so have its capabilities:• Modular buildings can be single to multi-story

and up to hundreds of thousands of square feet.

• Life expectancy of modular construction can be the same as that of traditional construction – 50+ years.

• All designs and finishes available to meet specific site, material and architectural requirements.

• Custom designed buildings can be both beautiful and functional depending on the architecture wanted and budget of the user.

• Modular construction can either be permanent or temporary.

• Modular Healthcare Construction specified with concrete flooring and steel construction.

Advantages of Modular Construction

Speed• Some healthcare buildings can be constructed in as little as 45-

60 days• Construction takes place in a controlled factory environment

eliminating delays due to weather• Site Preparation occurs concurrently with building constructionSavings• Often provides substantial savings in building costs• Provides ability to start utilizing healthcare space quickly, often

leading to increased patient load for customer and/or decreased interest expense during construction

Quality• Buildings are constructed to meet or exceed the same building

codes for every state, city and local entityFlexibility / Choice• Design Build• Custom floor plans• Finishes can be selected to match existing buildings

(brick/stucco/concrete etc.)
