Made New in Christ

Dear Friend, there is new life in Christ! The old life passes away in Christ for He makes all things new and gives everlasting life full of streams of living water and

living bread. Here are some Scriptures that promise us this New Life in Christ:

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1

John 1:8 ESV

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23 ESV

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed

away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV

Put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is

corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your

minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true

righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24 ESV

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent

me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just

as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might

walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4 ESV

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law

of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh,

could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for

sin, he condemned sin in the flesh Romans 8:1-3 ESV

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that

whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For

God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world

through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but

he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in

the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation,

that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light,

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is

patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died

for us. Romans 5:8 ESV

Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my

Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that

I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will

come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
