Because of privatization and commercialization of Education, a majority of academic institutions in the country are motivated to profits. In this state, the role of community colleges remains vital to offer quality education at affordable fee. In this regard, MBM College has been playing a crucial role in imparting quality education by running a range of academic programs from +2 Level to Master's Level. As a member of the Management Committee, I would like to see the continuity of its academic quality, institutional growth, and the fulfillment of its mission and vision.

Madan Bhandari Memorial College, a well-known institution named after the People’s Leader Madan Kumar Bhandari, who has been recently adorned with the highest state honour – Nepal Ratna, after demise, was instituted for genuine service to the people and the nation.

The “excellence” in all aspects is the key feature of the college. The college has established many amenities such as well-furnished classrooms, labs, library, an FM station (Mero FM 93.5 MHz) and a playground to meet excellence in every aspect. MBM graduates, winning gold medals at the university and higher secondary level examinations, have proven the college as the centre of excellence.

BackgroundMadan Bhandari Memorial (MBM) College, a non-profit academic institution, was established in 2001 by Madan Bhandari Foundation to materialize the People’s Leader the late Madan Kumar Bhandari’s distinct vision of education. The college has excellent academic ambience to encourage students to learn independently, develop practical skills, imbibe rich culture and build up confidence to secure their cherished future careers through a number of courses at undergraduate and graduate degrees in different disciplines.
